Connect signing links to the right location

Choose location names and share the correct location-specific signing route.

Location information should help the team understand where a guest is attending. Use names that make sense on a busy day, especially when a business has two branches in the same city or a temporary event site. Avoid making staff interpret internal abbreviations.

Locations also affect how you distribute links and launch kiosks. Before printing signs or updating booking messages, decide which route belongs to each site and who is responsible for keeping that route current.

1

Review the location list.

Open Settings, then Locations. Owners and admins can access this area. Check the names against the locations your team actually operates. Keep a simple mapping between each physical site and the name used in the workspace so invitations, check-in and staff instructions stay consistent.

2

Select a location when sharing.

Open Share and find the active public template. Use the location selector for the intended site before copying the link, opening the QR option or taking the embed snippet. Those actions use the selected location. Open the resulting link yourself and check the template before distributing it.

3

Set the kiosk context separately.

In Share, use the location selector beside Start kiosk on this device, then choose Start kiosk. Check the device at the counter where it will be used. When moving a tablet between sites, review its location rather than assuming that physically moving the device changed its settings.

CHECK THE RESULT

Try it with a realistic visit.

Imagine two branches using the same adult form. Copy the North location link into the North booking message and the South link into the South message. Open each from the actual message draft, then ask a teammate at each branch to use the route intended for that site. Include a tablet that was recently moved between the two desks.

The check passes when the team can explain which route belongs to each location and identify the setting to review before moving a kiosk. Keep that mapping with the list of printed signs and website placements so future changes have an owner.

IF YOU GET STUCK

The location setting is not available.

Ask an owner or admin to review your access and the workspace’s location setup. Do not create a duplicate template just to work around an account permission issue. Starter covers one location; Growth covers unlimited locations.

Is a location the same as a tablet?

No. A location describes a place in your operation. A tablet is a device used to collect signatures. Count the actual locations you need to manage when comparing Starter with Growth.
