SMS waiver invitations with a clear reason to act

Send a short, recognizable message that connects the right participant to the right form, and keep message volume visible as your operation grows.

A text message has very little room to explain an unfamiliar request. Guests should recognize your business, understand which visit the message concerns and know who needs to sign. Keep the message useful enough that it can stand on its own when someone reads it away from the booking confirmation.

Make the message recognizable

Name the business or event and describe the next action in plain language. Avoid a bare link with no context. A parent receiving a message for a child's activity needs different instructions from an adult signing for a rental. Review the final wording and destination together. If the link opens a form with a different activity name, the guest has good reason to stop and ask whether the request is legitimate.

Review recipients before sending

Use contact details collected through an appropriate process and follow the messaging permissions and rules that apply to your operation. Do not treat possession of a phone number as permission for every kind of message. Check country formats and duplicate entries, particularly when importing or assembling a group roster. Keep sensitive participant answers out of SMS. A reminder should direct the person to the appropriate workflow rather than exposing private form content in a notification.

Follow the signing result

Sending a message is one step in the process. A completed waiver is another. Review the actual submission or event roster before deciding a guest is ready. When a participant says the message did not arrive, first confirm the number and the correct invitation. A second channel may be more useful than sending the same text repeatedly. Have a link, email route or on-site signing option available for guests who cannot use SMS.

Plan volume around real visits

Estimate the messages your operation expects to send in a normal month and during its busiest period. Count reminders and repeat invitations as part of that workflow, not only first contacts. Starter and Growth include different monthly SMS allowances, while both include unlimited waivers. The pricing page explains the current allowances and extra-message rate. Annual billing does not turn a monthly message allowance into one annual pool.

Keep an owner responsible for reviewing the message process. They should know when texts are sent, how staff handle requests to stop messaging and where to check signing progress. A controlled process is easier to explain to guests and easier to improve than several people sending ad hoc reminders from separate lists.

THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Common questions

Are SMS allowances monthly on an annual subscription?

Yes. The included SMS allowance renews monthly even when the subscription is paid annually. See the pricing page for the current plan allowances and additional-message rate.

Should we send another text if someone says they already signed?

Check for the signed record first. The guest may have used another contact detail or signing route. Repeated invitations can create confusion without resolving the underlying mismatch.
